Delo-ML 5327 High-Strength Metal Adhesive heat resistant to 200°C 50g

DELO-ML® 5327 is a high-strength, anaerobically curing 1-component adhesive based on acrylate, designed for securing and sealing metallic threaded connections at temperatures up to +200 °C.

Applications

• Permanent thread locking in machinery, engines, and housings
• Sealing of metallic threads in hydraulic, pneumatic, and piping systems
• Form-fit bonding of shaft-hub connections (e.g., gears, bearings, bushings)
• Mounting of rotational components under high temperature and shear load
• Secure bonding even on slightly oily metal surfaces (based on application testing)

Curing

• Fixture time (zinc-phosphated): 2–4 minutes
• Fixture time (V2A with DELO-QUICK 5002): approx. 20 minutes
• Final strength: approx. 24–72 hours

Processing

• Typical layer thickness: 0.05–0.1 mm (up to 0.4 mm with activator)
• Apply directly from bottle or using dispensing equipment
• Surfaces should be clean, degreased, and ideally roughened

• Shelf life unopened: 6 months at 0–25 °C, 12 months at 0–10 °C

Prevention:

• Wear protective gloves (1-4 hours breakthrough time: recommended Viton® fluoroelastomer / short-term exposure < 15 min nitrile gloves).
• Wear eye protection or face protection.
• Avoid release to the environment.
• Avoid inhaling vapor.

Response:

• If inhaled: Seek medical advice if feeling unwell, call a Poison Center or a doctor.
• Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
• If on skin: Wash with plenty of water and seek medical advice if irritation occurs.
• If in eyes: Rinse carefully with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing and immediately call Poison Center.

Storage and Disposal

• Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.
• Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local, regional, national, and international regulations.
