REINZOPLAST is suitable for statically highly stressed sealing compounds, especially in the case of vibrations. Depending on the medium, it can be used in the temperature range from -50 ° C to +250 ° C, for a short time up to 300 ° C. In the case of bending and torsion-resistant components of high sealing surface quality in conjunction with a low application layer thickness (sealing gap) and a large sealing width, liquid pressures of more than 100 bar can be mastered. In relation to the internal pressure, only low surface pressures are generally required for the sealing effect, lower than in most other sealants. It has very good media resistance to petrol and diesel fuels, biodiesel, oils, greases, lubricants, additives, antifreeze, water and gases. In the above Conditions apply in a wide operating range, the relationship media: surface pressure approximately equal to internal pressure, in contrast to many other types of seals in which the surface pressure must be greater than the internal pressure. The components can be installed immediately after applying REINZOPLAST. On the other hand, since the assembly time is practically unlimited, it is also suitable for applications in which the assembly takes a long time.
