WEICON KP 1000 Copper Paste

• Protection, release, and lubricant for highly stressed parts at high temperatures
• High-temperature and corrosion resistant

Surface pre-treatment

• To achieve optimum results, the mounting parts should be degreased and cleaned, e.g. with WEICON Surface Cleaner (roughen the surfaces, if required).
• For used screws, treat with a wire brush and clean with WEICON Cleaner S.
• WEICON Copper Paste can also be used on uncleaned surfaces, e.g. screws as delivered. However, the cleaner the surface, the better the results achieved.

Processing

• Clean and degrease surfaces with WEICON Spray Cleaner S.
• Apply Copper Paste evenly with a brush, cloth, or sponge.
• For screws, it is important that the Copper Paste is applied down to the thread root and under the screw head to ensure a good sealing effect.
• To avoid altering the properties, Copper Paste must not be mixed with greases or oils.
• Copper Paste does not replace oil or grease lubrication.

Storage

• Keep tightly closed in original packaging.
• Do not store together with oxidizing agents.
• Keep container tightly closed and store in a cool, well-ventilated place.
• Shelf life: 24 months
