3M™ Scotch-Weld™ 2216 B/A is a flexible, two-part structural epoxy adhesive, specifically designed for demanding bonding applications involving metals, plastics, ceramics, wood, and rubber.
- Pack size: 135 ml press cartridge
- Also available as: 250 ml B/A tube set
Applications
- Bonding of metals, FRP, polyester, fluororubber, ceramics and wood
- Suitable for structural joints under vibration, shock, or dynamic load
- Weather-resistant bonding for indoor and outdoor applications
- Ideal for low temperatures down to -55 °C and thermal stress up to +80 °C

Application Instructions
- Clean and roughen surfaces (e.g. with Scotch-Brite™ 7447)
- Mix components at 2:3 until homogeneous paste is achieved
- Apply with spatula or cartridge; optimal bond line thickness: 0.05–0.15 mm
- Clamp lightly; cure at 23 °C or accelerate at 65 °C
Storage & Shelf Life
- Store in original packaging at 15–25 °C and 50 % RH
- Shelf life: 24 months from date of shipment
