DELO-GUM SJ3096 Silicone Sealant RTV-1 for electronics 100g tube

DELO-GUM® SJ3096 is an acetoxy-curing, stress-relieving 1-component silicone rubber that cures at room temperature. This sealing and potting compound is solvent-free, self-leveling and resistant to temperatures up to +180 °C.

Applications

• Sealant for industrial housings and assemblies
• Potting compound for electronic components
• For systems exposed to thermal cycling (–50 °C to +180 °C)

Features

• Self-leveling and stress-compensating
• Room temperature curing with skin formation in approx. 8 minutes
• Cure depth approx. 3 mm per 24 h (at 23 °C / 50% RH)
• Solvent-free, RoHS-compliant (2015/863/EU)
• Excellent adhesion to aluminum, plastics and glass

Application Notes

• Processing temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C
• Adhesion improves on clean, dry surfaces
• Acetic acid is released during curing (noticeable by odor)

Storage & Shelf Life

• Unopened shelf life: 12 months (100 g tube), 18 months (310 ml cartridge)
• Storage temperature: +15 °C to +30 °C
