ELASTOSIL® E43 N TRANSPARENT is a one-component, non-slump to self-levelling RTV-1 silicone adhesive for food-related and industrial applications, which cures at room temperature in the presence of humidity to form a permanently elastic silicone rubber.

• Adhesion to glass, ceramics, metals, plastics, and powder-coated surfaces

• Temperature resistant from -50 °C to +180 °C

Processing Instructions

• Apply directly from cartridge – ready to use
• Application with manual, pneumatic or electric guns (e.g., 310 ml dispensing gun)
• Use of suitable nozzles recommended (e.g., standard nozzle)
• Cures at room temperature in the presence of humidity
• Optimal curing at 50 % RH and 23 °C
• Heat curing only for thin layers (<0.5 mm)

Removal

• Uncured: remove with white spirit or test benzine
• Cured: remove mechanically or with silicone remover

Storage & Shelf Life

• Store in a cool and dry place
• Minimum shelf life: see batch label
