Wacker Elastosil E43 Silicone Rubber RTV-1 transparent 90ml tube

WACKER ELASTOSIL® E43 TRANSPARENT is a one-component, acetoxy-curing and moderately self-levelling RTV-1 silicone adhesive that cures at room temperature upon contact with atmospheric moisture. It forms a durably elastic silicone rubber and adheres well to various substrates including cured silicones.

• FIPG sealing (Formed-In-Place Gaskets – wet type)
• Bonding in electronics, household appliances and textiles
• Seam sealing on silicone-coated textiles

• Suitable for cured silicones, glass, metals, plastics, ceramics and powder-coated surfaces

Processing Instructions

• Ready-to-use from cartridge
• Moisture curing – no heat required
• Thermal curing only for thin layers < 0.5 mm – otherwise blistering may occur

Safety Notes

• During curing approx. 4% acetic acid is released – ensure good ventilation
• Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes – rinse with water if necessary

Removal

• Uncured: remove with white spirit or similar nonpolar solvents
• Cured: remove mechanically or with silicone remover / swelling agents

Storage & Shelf Life

• Store in a cool, dry place
• Minimum shelf life: see batch label (“best use before end”)
