LOCTITE® EA 3479 (known as Hysol 3479) is a 2-part, aluminum-filled epoxy adhesive ideal for repair/recovery of worn and damaged machinery such as shafts, housings, keyways and flanges as well as broken or damaged parts such as castings, pipes or fabrications.

Application

• Ideal for the repair and recovery of worn and damaged machinery
• Can be used for filling cavities, levelling machinery, repairing cast-steel plates, making core moulds, applying a sacrificial coating or sealing leaking pipes.
  

Characteristics

• Non-sagging, heavily reinforced, aluminum powder-filled 2-part epoxy
• Easily mixed and moulded to form odd shapes if required
• Rebuilds and repairs worn metal parts in high operating temperature applications
• Cures to a non-rusting, aluminum-like finish
