• epple 4551 is an adhesive with many uses. It can also be applied for rapid bondings, even with absorbing substrates.
• The adhesive film remains transparent and elastic.

Field of application

• epple 4551 is mainly used for the rapid bonding of different plastics and metals where the glued joint is exposed to low mechanical strain. It is suitable for the rapid bonding on absorbing materials, e. g. paper or paper board.

Application / surface

• The surfaces of the assembly components have to be clean and free from dust and grease.
• Apply to the adhesive faces on one or both sides.
• With very absorbing surfaces, eventually apply the adhesive twice.

• ​Viscosity: 5 – 10 Pas (DIN EN ISO 3219)
• Density: 0.9 – 1.1 g/cm3 / 20 °C (DIN 53479)
• Color: transparent
• Loss on drying up to 140 °C: 60 – 66 %.
• Storage conditions: 24 months in closed original containers stored dry and cool, but frost-free. Ideal storage temperature: 5 – 30 °C.
