Wacker Elastosil E4 Silicone rubber RTV-1 transparent 310ml cartridge

WACKER ELASTOSIL® E4 is a one-component, non-sag silicone rubber (RTV-1) for a wide range of industrial applications. Curing takes place at room temperature under the influence of atmospheric moisture.

Properties

• RTV-1, acetoxy-curing – releases acetic acid
• Transparent color
• Very high elongation (750%)
• Heat resistant up to 180 °C (briefly up to 200 °C)
• Excellent primerless adhesion
• Low Shore hardness (15)

Technical Data

Processing Instructions

• Ready-to-use directly from the cartridge
• Application with manual, pneumatic or electric guns (e.g., 310 ml dispensing gun)
• Use of suitable nozzles recommended (e.g., standard nozzle)
• Curing by atmospheric humidity
• Excellent adhesion without primer

Storage & Safety

• Store dry at room temperature
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes
• Up to 3% acetic acid vapors released during curing – ensure good ventilation
