Henkel Teroson MS 930 SMP Adhesive Sealant sprayable 310ml

TEROSON® MS 930 is a solvent-free, sprayable 1K adhesive and sealant based on silane-modified polymers (SMP) for elastic sealing and structural bonding in vehicle, container and equipment construction. UV- and weather-resistant with broad substrate adhesion – suitable for interior and exterior use.

Applications

• Seam and joint sealing in automotive, vehicle and container construction
• Marine applications, HVAC, electrical equipment
• Bonding of flooring and reinforcement elements (e.g. around windshields)
• Adheres to metals, glass, plastics, ceramics – primerless application

Features

• Free from solvents, isocyanates, silicones and PVC
• Elastic, thixotropic, paste-like – suitable for vertical applications
• UV and QUV resistant according to internal tests
• Water vapor resistance according to IEC 61215/61646 (1,000 h at 85 °C / 85 % RH)
• Temperature resistant: -50 °C to +80 °C (short-term up to 120 °C)
• Application: manual, pneumatic or from drums/hobbocks (requires ram pump)

Technical Data

Application Notes

• Apply using manual, pneumatic or electric guns (e.g. cartridge gun)
• Use appropriate nozzles: standard nozzle or V-cut nozzle
• Clean bonding surfaces with Teroson VR 30, VR 10 or TEROSON SB 450
• Ensure material is at room temperature to avoid increased viscosity
• Warning: Do not use on stress-crack-sensitive PMMA/PC (e.g. Plexiglas®, Makrolon®) without pretesting
• Smooth before skin formation with Sika® Smoothing Agent N
• Cured material can only be removed mechanically

Paintability

• Paintable after skin formation with 1K PUR or 2K acrylic paints
• Bake coating only after full curing
• Pretesting recommended to prevent cracking in the paint layer

Chemical Resistance

• Resistant to fresh and salt water, diluted acids and alkalis
• Short-term resistance to fuels, oils and greases
• Not resistant to organic solvents, concentrated acids or alkalis
